Today I, Paddle To The Sea traveled in a painted canoe. It was very cold. I saw some animals including wood mice , white owls, rabbits, wolves , a wolverine , a weasel , and a moose . I loved when all the animals came near me! I didn’t know where I was because I was just a little carved person didn’t know where this part of the world was.
Day 4
I saw some animals today. I saw a beaver , a deer , a mink , a muskrat , a skunk , and a porcupine. It was snowy and cold. I was in my colorful canoe on the beautiful brook. I saw that deer that I saw earlier . The deer got his horn off by hitting it hard on a log.
Day 6
The leaves are on the trees again!
I am very warm. Actually I am boiling!
AAAAHHHHH! Th th-th there i-i-is a-a-a b-b-big c-c-creature a-a-annd h-h-hee i-i-is g-g-going t-to e-e-eat m-m-me I thought! I-I-I a-am s-s-so-o s-s-sc-ca-ar-r-red th-that m-my t-t-teeth a-are ch-ch-chattering. ''H-h-help me'' I cry! My little log is being carried away to the MONSTROUS thing! The thing is so huge! It is so MONSTROUS that it will eat me! I can sense a huge amount of MONSTROSITY in it! '' U-UM HEY YOU BIG MONSTER UP THERE YOU ARE MONSTROUS!'' I shouted up to the monster. '' I MEAN IT! YOU HAVE A SWELL LOT OF MONSTROSITY IN YOU! GET AWAY FROM ME YOU BIG , MEAN BULLY! GO-O-O AWAY FROM ME! I saw what he was doing. '' OK NOW I SEE WHERE YA GETTIN' TO OH NO NO YA CAN'T TRICK ME'' I had gathered up all the courage to speak to that MONSTROUS monster. I didn't have any more courage to speak to that monster again. Even though I had all that courage to speak to him the first time , I could not have the courage to speak to him a second time!
Day 7 Oh no (sniff) I couldn't (sniff) go (sniff) in this (sniff) monster (sniff).
'' HE GOT MEE ''! I sobbed in my canoe. It got filled with water!
'' No I am about to get cut with a saw!'' '' Thank goodness '' ''I didn't get cut with the log! '' Aaaah this is nice and relaxing '' I didn't know I was in a lumberjacks hand but I was resting against it . I was turned upside down ! ''Ok maybe not nice and relaxing '' '' Darnit '' '' I WANT NICE AND RELAXING ! '' But then I got dropped in the water. '' Aaah nice and relaxing again. ''
Day 8 ''Just sea now I suppose '' I thought '' All it is is sky , sun , stars and water . Along time from then I got LIFTED up on lake Superior ( a few times ) !
Day 9
What are those dim shapes in the distance ? '' Oh my gosh '' A ship is coming. '' Oh no not bein' lifted up AGAIN ! Splash splish splosh. I hate this part of life . It is so boring ! ''
Hey, there are some sandcastles. I could live in one. That would be fun and cool to live in a sandcastle.

''What a pretty day with butterflies dancing around and dragonflies too ''
'' With turtles and frogs,herons, wild ducks, woodpeckers, kingfishers,cow moose, bull moose, what the !'' I got lifted up by the bull moose and I flew into the air up,up higher than higher than a piece of wood . It felt good up in the warmish,coldish ( I couldn't tell witch ) air .
